摘要:"OBJECTIVE: To explore the relationship between blood type and diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) in Chinese women <= 35 years old. STUDY DESIGN: A total of 1,199 infertile women who underwent in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) cycles and were <= 35 years old were included in this retrospective study. DOR was defined as a basal serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level >10 mIU/mL or antral follicle count of <5. Patients with normal ovarian reserve were used as controls. The clinical characteristics, including blood type, of each patient were collected. RESULTS: We observed no association between a woman's blood type and DOR. We found that age and ovarian surgery were risk factors for DOR, while body mass index and anti-Miillerian hormone were protective factors. CONCLUSION: These results suggested that blood type was not associated with DOR in Chinese women <= 35 years old. There are no clinical implications for using blood type as a risk factor for DOR, but further study is necessary to confirm the findings."
